5-27-21 THOUGHTS

Psalms 119  is a chapter that magnifies God’s WORD and our need for that  WORD in our lives.   Jer 10:23    I know, O LORD, that a man’s way is not in himself, Nor is it in a man who walks to direct his steps.
Whatever is good and right in this world concerning me,  COMES FROM GOD!

Ps 119:57-63     The LORD is my portion; I have promised to keep Your words. 58  I sought Your favor with all my heart; Be gracious to me according to Your word. 59  I considered my ways And turned my feet to Your testimonies. 60  I hastened and did not delay To keep Your commandments. 61  The cords of the wicked have encircled me, But I have not forgotten Your law. 62  At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to You Because of Your righteous ordinances. 63   I am a companion of all those who fear You, And of those who keep Your precepts.

There are several notable and powerful statements above.
with all my heart
“You shall love the Lord your God with ALL!”   Eph 6:24 Grace be with all those who love          our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible [sincere]  [love.]
I considered my ways And turned my feet to Your testimonies.
Our continual examination of ourselves is a must.  We must then turn RIGHTLY!
At midnight I shall rise to give thanks to You Because of Your righteous ordinances.
Our continual AWARENESS OF GOD’S PRESENCE is necessary as we live.  This is         “Practice The Presence Of God” thinking.  This is continual thanksgiving to an ever-                   present GOD!
I am a companion of all those who fear You, And of those who keep Your precepts.
God’s people need to be our social group.  Continual FELLOWSHIP with those of like mind       is mutually encouraging and edifying.

Jer 24:7   ‘I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the LORD; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.

My Prayer:
Father, we praise you with all of our might.  May we come to you with pure hearts at all times.
Help us to see ourselves as we are, and turn to you and your word.  Remove vanity and selfishness from us.  Restore our fellowship and give us zeal to serve you and to tell the story of Jesus.  Thank you for the victory that is in him.   In Jesus name we pray     Amen
